Mission

To raise the prayer level in the nation.
To call the nation to prayer
To establish a modern prayer movement across the nation, bringing all prayer cells together in unity, resulting in the building of the house of the Lord, restoring the presence of God, the worship of God in the nation.

“…for my house shall be called a house of prayer for all people.”

Who are we?

Prayer 2000 is a partnership of prayer ministries that was created to facilitate the transformation and reformation of our nation. This partnership includes a wide cross-section of Christian that represent numerous denomination and churches. These brethren are driven by a burden for the prayer ministry of the church and have been meeting consistently since 2000.

The increased willingness in the nation to shun evil is a definite outworking of Prayer 2000’s vision. However, we do realize that we cannot advance any further without your involvement.

Our core function

To keep critical national issues in national prayer focus
To stimulate prayer at community, parish and national level
To facilitate church unity through prayer
To seek God’s direction fort the nation and pray it into reality, e.g. elections, financial structure, etc
Research and pray in the operation of the right foundations of a nation
Do spiritual mapping of the country and conduct spiritual warfare every five years
Address ungodly cultural issues of the country through prayer

The call for unity

To tear down the strongholds that cause disunity within the body of Christ through repentance, fasting, prayer and praise
To actively improve communication between church leaders
To establish a highly skilled and qualified prayer army
To establish strategic warfare centres island-wide
