A message from the Committee

“The mighty men of David came together
to make him King
and to extend his kingdom over all Israel,”
as the Lord had said.

1 Chr 11:10

The men of Isaachar understood the times and knew what Israel should do (1 Chr 12:32). Nehemiah and his initial group of men were of one mind in the restoration of the wall. Jehoida, the high priest, took strength and courage and by networking with men in different groups across the land, brought quiet to the city and all the people of the land were able to celebrate (2 Chr 23:21).

A prime spiritual energy against the church is akin to the strategy of Israel's enemies who focused on taking away the men and the skilled craftsmen into exile and, in doing so, made it easy to control. For the church, the exile of men affects the cause of the advancing Kingdom, as the resources are incomplete.

All the men in our examples above were determined to restore balance and order. MAN is calling forth men who want to extend the Kingdom of Jesus Christ over all Jamaica. MAN is calling forth men who understand the times and know what God wants the church to do. MAN is calling forth men who will be prepared to network with other men across church denominations in a move to restore the nation through one man, one community at a time.
